Apparel care, especially the cleaning process, can place a tremendous burden on the environment. In fact, far more water and energy are typically used in cleaning apparel during its life than are used in its production.
Inside each of our garments are instructions on caring for the garment. Following these instructions will not only help ensure that your garment looks great, but will minimize harm to the environment.
In general, we recommend that you wash our garments in cold water using a mild detergent made from non-toxic ingredients, then line dry (or tumble dry with low heat).
Please do not dry clean our garments. They don't require it and the chemicals frequently used by dry cleaners are highly toxic.
